Great quote! We got married in February so we’re still in the honeymoon phase and haven’t really bickered just yet haha. It’s bound to happen of course, but for now I’m basking in the bliss of things being great! This is an excellent reminder though, I’m really good at pointing fingers at my husband when I get frustrated.
This quote comes from many, many years of experience. Believe me, I was the queen at pointing fingers. But I realized a couple of years ago the importance of accountability in a relationship. Enjoy the honeymoon. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
After 14 years of being in a relationship, I can say I totally agree with this and that the best solution is accountability and giving each other a little breathing room!
That is true. I have learned that being accountable for myself rather than blaming is much more effective when having an argument. Thank you for stopping by!

Definitely. Some space is always good 🙂
So true. Fights always turn from discussions into BIG fights when blame is thrown around. It’s best to just stop it before it happens.
